Yes, Orange can say. Have you looked at their web site for details?

It is possible, depends on your credit history though, give them a call
and see.

See http://www.gsmroaming.co.uk/ for info.

In 2001 I went to Iceland with my OVP phone (nokia 3330)
I had rung Orange in adavnce and they said every thing was ok.

While in Iceland my phone would not register with any network.

This year I am off to Iceland again (same sim card) but in a nokia 7250i

Ive yet to have Orange successfully set up roaming right first time,
on any of my accounts, be prepared to call them back from wherever
you are +447973100159 Orange Roaming Support

But once working, Orange roaming has always been very reliable for me

There are always glitches in roaming and unfortunately, Ive made several
trancontinental calls to deal with the same over the year. Any GSM phone
which has 900mhz will work in Iceland. While Iceland has some 1800mhz GSM,
900mhz will work better in rural areas or off the islands costal road.
Moreover, your phones are both dualband so this so this is irrelevant.
(Actually, I think the 7250i is a triband).

If you have a problem, it is with Orange and getting international roaming
active on your phone. My suggestion is to call and confirm with technical
support that your account is active for international roaming. Then, I
would turn around and make sure that the phone is unlocked before you go.
If you have any problems, you can buy a prepaid SIM in Iceland. Then leave
a message on your Orange account where to reach you.

In all honesty, unless you only want the phone for emergencies, youll come
out ahead by an Icelandic prepaid pretty quickly. You can get info on their
prepaids from prepaidgsm.net

And once they have set up roaming properly on your account (ignore
them if they tell you a SIM Update text is needed first - it isnt),
you will need to manually select each of the local networks in turn to
reset the access status.

This will have been set to forbidden if the handset tried and roaming
wasnt enabled at the time.
