There are always glitches in roaming and unfortunately, Ive made several
trancontinental calls to deal with the same over the year. Any GSM phone
which has 900mhz will work in Iceland. While Iceland has some 1800mhz GSM,
900mhz will work better in rural areas or off the islands costal road.
Moreover, your phones are both dualband so this so this is irrelevant.
(Actually, I think the 7250i is a triband).
If you have a problem, it is with Orange and getting international roaming
active on your phone. My suggestion is to call and confirm with technical
support that your account is active for international roaming. Then, I
would turn around and make sure that the phone is unlocked before you go.
If you have any problems, you can buy a prepaid SIM in Iceland. Then leave
a message on your Orange account where to reach you.
In all honesty, unless you only want the phone for emergencies, youll come
out ahead by an Icelandic prepaid pretty quickly. You can get info on their
prepaids from prepaidgsm.net
Stu.
