battery that lasts more than a day.

AFAIK the upgrade policy began at the beginning of this month
and customers can upgrade after month 11.

Are you 100% sure its the 11 month? My friend who has a 3G swears he
was told by 3G that he cannot upgrade until the first day after his
contract has expired ie 12 months and one day?

Why take up an upgrade ?

Surely it would be better to take out a new contract with a new phone
with half-price line rental for 12 months as advertised on the web and
weeknd papers

He was offered a LG 8110 Free on talk something or other (I am not a
3G user) for Ł35 a month plus a Free Motorola A835 on pay as you go
(not contract) all free....... ie 2 phones completely free......
Sounded good to me????.......But for this he would have to take out
one new contract for one of the phones.

But he wants to keep his old number, dont ask me why because he has
only had it a year therefore the above deal wouldnt apply to him

He is getting a LG8110 Free on upgrade but nothing else.

How does this sound to you? Like I say I am not the sharpest knife in
the drawer when it comes to tariffs.

What about taking out a new contract
- free phone
- half price line rental for 12 months
