My billing date on my Orange contract was yesterday the 15th, I was also
due to change tariff to SD120+30 sms as offered by OCR, so I made sure I
used up most of my existing minutes before the due date.

This morning, 150 is still reporting about 4 mins left and the website
shows 8 mins..! A call to OCS gives no useful info at all, I just get the
usual our engineers are aware of the problem spiel.

So, will calls made today come out of the new allocation..? I assume so,
and the tubby told me they would, but knowing the cockups Orange have had
recently Im not certain..!

The thing has been up and down like an up and down thing all week for
me. Still only gives the time from Tuesday but doesnt say which
Tuesday...

Of course it would be quite wrong to suggest that its deliberately
broken all the time so that people will be well under their full
inclsive minutes or go well over, both of which would benefit O
financially...

Well yes, it would be wrong. It has always been somewhat flaky, but until
a week or so ago it at least gave accurate information when it was
working, and I never knew it be totally out for more than a day or so. Now
its totally useless and I dont know if my tariff change has been
implemented or not until its back up.

They didnt know either, as apparently their info comes from the same
source. Its all working ok this morning, fortunately, although it still
cant manage to tell me the time the last call was made, its still just
Thursday, July !!
