Jon, I have a feeling that you exist here just to be disagreeable.

In case it wasnt clear, I followed up with a post saying that the contract
was free too.
If on the off chance you still believe its common place, please send us a
link of where you can get a free Nokia 3510i plus free contract on or
offpeak.
> Probably indicates you are on the wrong tariff.
Probably does, but the point was that the new contract negotiated was
extremely beneficial and if you were to ask for it, youd be charged closer
to Ł20 / month.

All industries need to hit their sales targets. Many people buy phones and
contracts for Xmas. The reason why January and February sell almost as well
are because newer phones drop in price so that they come on contract with
less excess to pay. I believe it is you who doesnt know your industry if
you would challange me on contracts being better in December than January.
Finally, I posted this because someone posted that theyd been with Orange
for several years going through several phones and averaged a Ł90/month
bill. He didnt make anywhere near enough of an effort to get a better deal
given his call history.
Jon, I dont want to get into a slanging match with you but I would
appreciate it if you didnt go out of your way to be so disagreeable. There
is probably a lot of good advice unposted because of your aggressive stance
and its not like any of my advice is incorrect or invalid. There is a great
deal of fantastic advice out there comparing whats advertised, but there is
little in the way of what can be negotiated. I like to think that there are
readers out there that appreciated my post.
AMO
