Just taken a contract out with BT Mobile from CPW, but which network
do they use?
Ive heard variously that its O2 and T-Mobile, but can I tell which
Im on?

I also need to set up WAP. I could download the settings from the S-E
website but it doesnt list BT Mobile as a UK network, although it
does list Virgin & Tesco.

Should I use the settings for whichever network its being carried by?
The BT Mobile website says nothing about WAP, just has settings
downloads for MMS, and I dont want to ring CS as there arent enough
hours in the day for me to sit waiting for them to answer!

Possibly, although its likley that they may be very slightly different. I
think you need to contact BT for this info.

Bad news is BTM deny they support GPRS WAP. Good News is the settings are on
the CPW website. Works fine for me.

I await my first invoice to discover whether the billing system is more
knowledgeable than the BTM website & support on tariffs.

T-Mobile for consumers (it was originally O2)
Vodafone for business

What happens to existing customers who are already on T-Mobile. Will they be
switched eventually to Voda.
Since getting the phone Ive found T-Mobile is a rubbish signal at home,
whereas Voda is full scale, so Id much rather be on Voda.

I wonder if you cant complain to BT Mobile loudly enough that they
offer to migrate your account over to their Voda system anyway?
