Hi,

Id like a k700i on Orange, but although they offer the best network
coverage for me, I hate the way that they brand their phones.

This model in particular has lost the quickshare logo on the bottom front
and had it replaced with the Orange blob....

Ive heard that O2 phones are unlocked, is that correct.

So, get a k700i on the cheapest O2 tariff, give the O2 sim to my old man who
has a PAYG O2 phone, and put my Orange contract sim in the K700i - is that
the best option, will any O2 branding remain?

Or should I just buy sim free?

Si.

So, you got it from an O2 retail shop?

1. You put a sim in from which network?

2. No problems?

3. What did you do with the O2 sim - use it in another handset?

Thanks in advance...

Si.

K700i bought from O2 online. unlocked as standard. Boxed with all
standard UNBRANDED kit in a standard SE box. Phone has an O2 wallpaper
- which can be changed - and O2 wap settings - which can be changed.
Cost my Son only Ł60 extra overe the next 12 months when compared to
the SIM only contract.

Chunty, forgive me if this is a daft question, but you bought an O2 phone,
and put another O2 sim in it....

Hardly making the best advantage of an unlocked phone....
