Quite simply their article is complete nonsense and basic ...
The case for Voda 3G (Ł160 3G phones) and NOT 3 :) lol
3 for example have 80%ish plus 3G coverage - even if its poor you are
automatically switch to normal GSM which doesnt effect your inclusive
calltime.
You get upwards of 750 minutes (Ł35) of calls (same/x-net/landline) and
500mins is Ł25 in that you get a feature rich phone that is heavily
subsidised (eg: Ł30/45).
On contract you get the above calltime/tariffs BUT these are heavily
discounted - me for example am on a Ł25 tariff for 1/2 price for 3 months
(Ł12.50) then the next 6 months is Ł4.99 p/m so in effect Im paying normal
prices for the latter 3 months.
The phones are top-notch and FREE - I got the LGU8120 3G dualscreen
camera/videophone.
Per year:
FREE 3G LGU8120 camera/videophone (2/2.5G fallback)
6,000 (same/x-net/landline) minutes (500 per month)
Cost in 1st year = Ł117.44
Certainly looks like a good time to get on the bandwaggon to me :)
