Ive just tried my 3pay simcard in my 2g phone and it looks to work. Does
anyone know if 3 enforce anything on the 3pay simcards or if theyre likely
to cut it off or anything?

If you were to use a 3G-capable phone that has been locked to 2G then

In the latter case (3G capable phone) if you are careful and only lock
to 2G when essential then you will probably be OK. But note that in some
areas the 3 signal is actually better than O2s 2G network in some regards.
