Hi guys

Have been told by CPW that I can have an upgrade just waiting now to see if
I can get the 6680 on voda

I know I can get the D500 as that was confirmed today with the upgrade price
and all the ins and outs.

Im a bit stuck for choice really both phones seem to do what I want I was
going to for the D500 but saw the ad earlier for the 6680 and its has my
attention lol

the Nokia does have email and calander and stuff which I have to admit would
be usefull for work but im guessing that I can upload the calander from
outlook onto the D500 too and all my work stuff is slowly going into outlook
so I think that problem will sort itself out.

Only other feature I can see the nokia having is the dual cams so you can
see who you are talking too I dont think the d500 will do this but I may
wrong there.

Right guys what I need is some advice would you say one phone was better
than the other in terms of fetures.

I dont really need to much access to the net from the phone but being able
to get the laptop onto the net over it would be handy so eaither good usb or
bluetooth is going to be needed. MP3 is something I would like but have all
the music on the laptop or on standalone mp3 player so not too big a thing
just something to listen too now and then I guess.

Got to say at this moment in time im pushing for the D500 over the Nokia but
is there anything the Nokia has that will blow the samsung out the water.

Thanks guys im not up on new mobiles still living with a 6210 for work as
thats in the car kit and my personal phone is a Sony Erricson z600 which I
do like but want something newer and saw a mates D500 and thought yeah ok
then saw the Nokia oh hell what do I do lol

The 6680 is a 3G smartphone. 3G means that you can do video calling and
that you can access the Web at broadband speed. Smartphone means that you
can install any kind of third party applications on it (its more a PDA

a GPS of course), control your PC from your phone via bluetooth or do more

The D500 on the other side is just a basic phone, no 3G, no way to install
third party applications (apart from Java games that is) so youve got to
do with the built-in applications which are all very basic. No expandable
memory and only 96MB of memory available, not enough for MP3s. And the MP3
player is crap anyway plus you cant use your own heaphones, youve got to
do with the supplied headset. Compared to the 6680, its smaller, lighter
and idiot-proof to use.

Up to you to decide what you really need now.

I guess for work the 6680 is going to be bang on and I dont mind a hundred
and one uses rather have em that not have them.

Oh well now to see if I can get it on upgrade as its only listed on 3G and
dont want to go to them want to stick with Voda if I can
