Hi All,

Ive just bought a XDAIIs from O2 and am investigating options for
making it an in car navigation system and was wondering if its
possible to connect a USB GPR receiver to it? i.e. is there a special
cradle or connection which allows me to plugin a USB receiver into the
XDAIIs?

As far as I can tell GPS receivers from a connection perspective come
in 2 flavours

1. USB
2. Bluetooth

My reasoning for wanting a USB receiver instead of a bluetooth one
(aside fom the price difference) is that with a USB receiver one would
only need to keep the XDAIIs connected to the in car charger and since
the USB GPS receiver will get its power from the PDA then you dont
have to worry about charge on 2 devices. While bluetooth is more
expensive, and requires a separate charger (you still have to worry
about charge on your PDA as bluetooth will sap the battery). The
advantage of bluetooth being portability and less wires I guess.
