Well, my grandpa is now into his 90s and has realized that he could do
with a modile phone for just incase.

It would need to be as simple to use as possible and have a large easy
to read keyboard and screen for slow fingers and dodgy eyes.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Its a shame the mobile companies dont realise there is a MASSIVE market
for this kind of thing. Some of us dont want the phone to be the size of a
matchbox with tiny buttons and tiny display. So what if it plays 500 tunes
or something. A lot of us still want just a phone to be a phone.
Best thing to do is maybe go around Tesco and compare them in real size,
its often difficult to give a recommendtion. Also have a look on the
Virgin site as it gives measurements and things. One with simple features
is often best as I doubt he will be doing email, text and browsing the
internet.

If you can find an orange Shop with stock left, they are doing the
house-brick like Motorola C975 for Ł40. Youll struggle to find bigger
buttons on anything else.

This could be just what Im looking for too. But I cant for the life of me
find any info on whether there is a minimum monthly top up required on
Vodafone PAYG. Can anyone enlighten me? Im looking for a phone which will
just be used for emergencies so dont really want one with a minimum monthly
spend.

TIA
Snuggles
