I have a Nokia 6230i - for some reason I cannot use the infrared to send
to my PC which has IR capability. IR is activated on the phone. It
tries to send an image file then it just says sending failed.

Any ideas? Thanks.

The speed of the IR port on your PC is probably set to 4Mbps, which way
too fast for the phone. Drop it to 115,200bps and see what happens.

I cannot find that option on the control panel - any idea where it is
located?

Also, you dont send from the phone to the PC, you choose to retrieve from
the phone using the PC only, so enable IRDA on both devices, and browse the
phone using Nokia PC Suite.
