Hi All

Ive recently got a datacard from O2 (a Merlin U630) and its
got a tiny socket on the side - like a phono socket but only
about 2.5mm in diameter.

Ive downloaded the U630 user manual, but I cant see this
socket mentioned anywhere.

My question is, is this an aerial (antenna) extension socket
and, if so, can anyone give me any advice about what kind of
aerial to buy for it. Indeed, is it *worth* buying an
external aerial? (The signal where I live is not wonderful.)
