Hi all,

Im looking for a relatively safe 100% cashback deal. Im not too bothered
about the handsets, but I need around 150-200 xnet minutes and a few texts
per month.

When I say safe, I mean the easiest to claim for. I like the look of the
X660 on Relax 25/30 via PhoneBoxDirect, but am kinda scared by a) their
previous claim clause and b) the fact that there are 5 claims (and so more
to go wrong).

Any advice? Who are the kindest retailer offering 100% cashback?

Hi again Shak,

If you wait a few weeks Time2Talk will be reintroducing mobile contracts
on their site, including their popular 12 months upfront[1] deals.
Traditionally these deals were all on TMobile, probably because the
network allowed the customer to opt to pay rent annually/quarterly which
is probably what made the early cashback payment achieveable. I dont
know if this will still be the case when the new deals go up.

As for whether T2T are safe or not, theyve been around for donkeys
years (in online terms, thats 5+ years) and have always had a good
reputation on this NG. To date there have been no cashback related
complaints publicly aired on the NG. The fact that all cashback is (or,
more accurately, was) administered automatically within 14 days must
surely make the 12 month upfront deals safer than most.

As a guide for the likely price point and handset range for the new
deals, details of their old 12 month upfront offerings can be found here:

http://www.time2talk.co.uk/t-mobile/upfront.php

(ignore the fact that they still list the old TMobile tariffs and that
everything is currently out of stock - I have been informed that they
are working on a new set of deals)

[1] not quite upfront really as you still have to pay the network line
rental on a quarterly/annual basis but T2T will AUTOMATICALLY credit
your bank account after 14 days with the cash equivalent of 12 months
line rental. No need to submit a manual claim.

FOOTNOTE: Unlike the vast majority of mobile retailers, Time2Talk have
never offered commissions for referring customers to them so the above
advice can be considered to be totally impartial.

It is a nightmare to contact e2save customer services. Phone line is
always busy and they never reply to any of the e-mails.

I would go with a deal with CPW.
