Was on the train the other day when i received an incoming notification that
someone was trying to send me a secret.gif and did i want to accept it.

I said no but wondered if it was possibly a virus or just someone eyeing me
up from within the carriage ;)

Phone is a SE K800i

thats why I keep my Bluetooth off until required.....

.gif is a picture format. Is it possible to hid file extensions on
phones?

Dont think so, I think the *.sif extension, amongst others, can be used for
viral purposes on smartphones. Its just a windows flaw thatm allowed hidden
file extensions.
