GSM WORLD

been looking around for new contract and 3 have some good deals but
concerned about what i have read re their coverage and losing signal when
switching between 2 and 3g. Also seen a lot of criticism of their customer
service but it seems most networks are susceptible to this. Previously used
voda and t mobile and not had any problems. looking for an N73

Id much rather have 3 than T Mobile,
around here T Mobile only have one BTS, 3 have three.

Ive been with 3 for nearly a year and Ive been very impressed. Their 3G
coverage is better than any other network and I never get dropped calls when
switching between 2G and 3G. They have dropped their walled garden so you
can surf all of the internet. The only slight problem is their Indian call
centre, you can be going round in circles trying to explain your problem,
its the usual thing, if its not on their script they dont know what
theyre talking about, luckily Ive only had to phone them once. Overall I
would say go for it, 3s tariffs are by far the best of any network.

Luckily being the operative word!

I can believe all that. All I would say is that if you make long
off-peak calls to friends or family, Vodafones Stop the Clock is a
real boon. No use at all of course if you use it mostly during the day
for work or whatever.
