Ive had the same outgoing message in my Orange answerphone for ages,
but this morning I discover that it is no longer there, and Im offered
the chance to record a personal greeting.

Orange seems to be going out of its way to piss off their customers, but
this seems a bit over the top, even for them.

If you replace u with you and n with and he makes a good point.

Unless you personalise your OGM (needed only because they dumped your
old OGM) you get nagged to do so every time you call, and have to wait
for the end of the nag - a keypress wont shut it up.

Its irritating enough to me, but if I were paying to retrieve messages
Id be even more annoyed by it.

Orange - the network that tries to make its customers go away.

The voicemail platform was recently upgraded, your greeting may have
been lost as a result of this.

There are some new options which are quite useful, eg the ability to
pause playback in the middle of a voicemail.
