I ordered a 6600 on Orange and waited 2 weeks to find out that Orange
werent sending them (onestopphoneshop) the handsets but would I want it on
Vodafone. I decided it worked out roughly the same so went for it. Next
thing I know the orders been cancelled as ive failed a singlepoint
reference check.
This is definitely not based on credit scoring. I think its down to the
fact I got one of the e808Ys off them a while ago but didnt use the SIM and
they lost out.

Anyways, what Im trying to get is the 6600 on any network for Ł50ish(or
less). I want minimum 150 anytime cross network mins, 100 texts per month
and a couple of mb for GPRS. Dont mind paying around Ł35 subscription.
Please can anyone tell me if there is a non-singlepoint way of doing this?
Dont mind using affiliate links etc. in return.

TIA

chopper

The only other thing it could be is that youve previously had an account
with singlepoint and defaulted on it.

Singlepoint are nothing to do with 3.

Thats not right though. Ive been a genie customer for at least 3-4 years
(kept genie tariff as they changed to O2) and never had another contract
except a friends and family thing through a contact at 3. Never missed a
payment on any of em.
Could it be because its my business bank account has only been open since
May?

What are singlepoint? Ive didnt realise that OSPS used a third party. I
was under the impression OSPS simply made money by selling contracts for the
respective network providers

If your are applying for the phone in the name of your business, and you
have no accoutns at Companies House, then it could well be the reason.

> What are singlepoint?

Singleopint are a Service Provider - they buy minutes from O2 and
Vodafone, package it up as tariffs, and sell it to customers. Basically -
they are a middleman.

They do, but your airtime contract is not directly with the network, its
with a 3rd party service provider.
