Hi all,

Ive noticed a few people recommending High-Speed Data tariff on
Orange, and Im doing my sums and it seems so wildly cheap Id be daft
not to. Are there any drawbacks I should know about? Can I still add
GPRS packages to it - and whats the best one of them? Can I send MMS
photo messages on it? I may, of course, have gotten this completely
arse-backwards, but heres hoping otherwise

Cheers,

Allan

No drawbacks really other than it doesnt have any inclusive minutes (but
the inclusive insurance and low SMS/call charges pretty much offsets that) -
you can still add GPRS packages and send MMS. Best GPRS package depends on
how much you use it and what you use it for. If you use it enough and only
need WAP then the access pack maybe what you want. If your usage is more
moderate and you need full internet access as well then the 1MB bundle maybe
better.

It is probably worth using HSD in combination with a calling card account if
you phone landlines a lot as you will save even more. Note that Orange
charge for known calling card 0800 numbers but there are plenty that they
dont know about (or cant be bothered to chase down). Google for some
pointers if you need them.

Hi,

I am on this plan and I am able to send MMS, but you need to ring
Orange to enable it before hand.

Call charges and text charges are cheap in my opinion.

Regards

Baz

Ps. Have you seen the Business plan on E2save? Ł15.50 a month with
phones like the V525 free. Downside is its Singlepoint!

Is that just for new connections/renewals? They certainly havent told me
anything about it no longer being included!
