You need to be looking at things like P900 or Treo 600, these are PDA Phones
and can hold thousands of contacts, the exact number depending on what other
applications, data and size or any additional memory cards are installed.

Whilst not coming anywhere near the smartphones already mentioned, if you
just want a phone that holds a lot of contacts (rather than a smartphone)
the Motorola V500/525 & V600 hold 1000 on the phone plus whatever the SIM
holds. (In the case of Orange, the phones are coming with the new blue 200
contact SIMs, so thats 1200 all told).

For as long as anyone can remember, Orange SIMs have been able to store 90
contacts, a month or two back Orange phones started appearing with blue
coloured SIMs rather than the usual orange coloured ones. These can hold 200
contacts.
