Hi all,

My first post online so apologies if I do anything wrong.

I ordered a V500 Orange pay as you go about 6 weeks ago and Im still
waiting :( is anyone else having the same problem?

Also while Im here once the V500 and the V525 are back in stock would I be
better going with Vodafone or Orange?

Id been trying to get one on a contract upgrade from Orange for over a
month & only managed to get it last week (purely down to luck as the CS rep
i got was the only one with any stock left on his schedule), so id say its
still a stock problem. If you have an order number id recommend phoning
them regularly to see if they can do anything about it. Id recommend
holding on to get one though, cause its a nice phone.

The V500 is yet to be released on Orange PAYG, so dont expect it
anytime soon.

Interestingly, the V500 the wife got on a contract upgrade last month had a
second version of the sticker with the 5 bar codes that is stuck on the
righthand side of the box inside the box, the only differences were;
1. The number that begins OMRM is higher by 1.
2. The barcode in the bottom right corner is different.
3. It has PAYG printed in big letters on it rather than PM.
So it must be coming soon...

Yup, makes it easier when Orange are packaging the phones with SIMs - if the
box already has a PAYG barcode on it, or theres a spare label with one on
in the box, it negates the need for extra messing around printing new
barcodes/labels.

The new batches of Samsung E700s have PAYG and Contract barcodes on the side
of the box, so they are likely to launch on PAYG soon, and I believe the
P900 has a spare label in the box as well as the V500 as you quite rightly
say.
